Doesn't make it any worse of a phone. It's just something for people who weren't going to get the phone in the first place to complain MORE about. Makes me laugh...
I Agree with you... People will probably get the phone when it gets released by Verizon.. It is just that AT&T is so Bad in a lot of areas mine included it is not worth jumping ship to AT&T's crappy service...
The dock and finger print scanner were winning me over and had me considering jumping to AT&T but the cost of the dock has left a sour taste in my mouth and convinced me thatthe Bionic is the phone I will go with. I just need to wait till it comes out and hope something else does not catch my eyes now. HA HA

AT&T is garbage and I hope they go bankrupt.
I personally would prefer the smaller phone. That's the main detraction of the bionic to me
At the risk of being a broken record, how bad would a mfr kill it if they offered made to order?
Do you know how quickly Verizon would go downhill if that were to happen? We're already seeing policy changes that favor big red's bottom line more than the consumer with the advent of the iPhone.
Don't forget the awkward fingerprint reader/unlock button.
Seriously gimmicky at best. The dock accessories is what I was really looking at. Would really eliminate the need for a seperate tablet, imo ...with the press release of the cost though, that is seriously outrageous, I could get a decent netbook for that price (or lower). Motorola seems to think that after their minor return to fame with the original droid, that people will pay whatever because it is their product. Think again. MWC is coming and more cool phones will be announced. I'm in no hurry whatsoever. Bionic is a thunderbolt with dual core (and likely) locked down bootloader. Hardware-wise I think Samsung is the top of the line, their problem is obviously lack of software support, which is unforgivable. Yay android. At least we have choices right?

So, I've searched through about 10 pages going back from today and I thought I'd just ask. Does anyone have an update on the release date of the Bionic? I called Verizon and the girl had no real info and I keep seeing early Q2 and mid Q2 online.
Any ideas?

So wait until after June!!!! No sense in calling and asking Verizon. You know more than them about it. We are not even out of the 1st quarter yet.
No one has any idea (aside from Verizon). Most call center people have zero idea until a day or two before release. If they have any information, they get it from tech sites, just like us. Don't hold your breath. I have a feeling they are doing what they can to roll out 4G to as many areas as possible before REALLY pushing a full 4G smartphone lineup. Just my 2 cents though. If you just HAVE to have something now, I know the HTC TB is right around the corner (by end of month)
