Motorola Droid Car Mount

It works great i even drilled a hole in mine where the camera is too record myself driving lol.
which brand did you purchase and does it have a website? I have the droid x and would like the mount to have a flexible arm to position accordingly.
thanks

Check out this mount from Arkon, the Mega Grip:

I'm using the beanbag mount as a desktop holder too. They have different mount styles like windshield, vent, cupholder, the beanbag, etc. And the you can see in the pic that the hump clears the mount perfectly.

Arkon

The problem I see with the Arkon Mega Grip is that it doesn't appear to be able to rotate the phone for a landscape view when navigating. Unfortunate for Droid users wanting to take advantage of one of its best features!

After ~3 months use, have to say I am thoroughly satisfied with mine. Cleaned the windshield, stuck it on, adjusted to my liking, tightened to hold the angle... done.

It's also shown in landscape mode at a minute twenty into the video.

Ooops - my fault! Couldn't play the video at work - even from their website- and the only landscape info I saw was their note about Droid X. Thanks!

The Motorola mount also features fast-charging from the cigarette lighter port on your dash. This is a relatively universal feature in all the premium car mounts currently available, so it isn't really a selling point one way or the other. Overall, the OEM Motorola Droid car mount is the best option for almost all general-use purposes. From navigation software to playing music on the go, Motorola has made the best optional add-on for its own product.

Yeah, except for the fact that their stuff won't work with a protective case (Otterbox or Seido). Seems that Moto could have built it with a bit of adjustability in case someone wanted to protect their $500 phone ;)
