Motorola Droid3 & New Xoom LTE May Be Released Soon; Gets MAP

Download RSD Lite, and install it on your computer (you may need to extract it first).

Download the drivers and install those on your computer as well.

Download SPRecovery, leave it zipped up, and put it somewhere on your desktop. You use RSD Lite to flash that .sbf file to your phone.

This thread has better instructions, but replace the "Motocache" file in step 3 of the "Detailed Procedures" with the CyanogenMod file you want to use.

Crap, is he on a Mac or are you? I think you have to go a different route if you're on a Mac, which I guess is why he was talking about the terminal script. Sorry.

No problem! He's on a Mac, not me. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with how to go about rooting the D1 using a Macintosh.
