Motorola Lapdock 100 on Clearance at VW for $49.97

Okay, okay...i have to eat my words! After dogging the lapdock a little bit, i must admit that i have become quite fond of it. I have used it everyday and each time i use it, i find that i like it more and more. I was a little skeptical at first but now that I figured out how too adjust the pointer and scroll down website pages. I must admit, that this appears to be one of the better $50 investments I've made :)

I knew you were lying to me, trying to buy up all the inventory around the country. Last night I hated it only seemed like it wanted to load mobile friendly pages, slowed down my phone to a crawl.

As I was typing the last post my thermal protection came on, that's why I wanted one. Could charge and email, text etc. Without worrying about overheating. Of course I could charge it in the morning, D'oh.

I picked up the lapdock today. So far, so good! $50 well spent. I would love to see some pics of how you connect the phone and seat it in the dock. The cable seems a little short and I do not want to stress the phone connectors. Lets see some pics of the phone connected and seated in the lapdock.

Got mine yesterday. Doesn't have the full fledged Firefox - thought that would help with my flash issues. Plus Alt+Tab works, but you have to hold Alt down a bit. It's great having a near-full laptop capability in a pinch.

Why hassle with the slot, why not just lay the phone on desk after you plug it in?

I was able to get it into the slot when I first got the dock, but it was way too much trouble.

I played with it last night and watched a few youtube vids and a couple hours of Netflix, the only problem I have is when I am done with the dock
and remove the phone, the phone acts weird and needs to be reset. Not that much of a problem but that's all I found so far.

My maxx fits into the slot with the shell on it, just kind of roll it into it and out. Snug to say the least.

I noticed I too have to boot my phone after I unplug it from the dock. Hassle? Tad bit.

I have one for a Atrix. It's modded to work for a Bionic and Razr.
Anybody want it for the cost of shipping????

I have a tablet I tether.

So i got mine today but the picture shows the cables on the side of the phone but my Ports are on the top so it doesn't fit right, did i get the wrong one? Its the lapdock 100

My box clearly said razr on it, the instructions show the cables connecting to the side. Probably same literature for all of them.

Mine was the same. Clearly labeled for Razr, but the instructions show a different phone. No problems, you just have to loop the cable around a little so the plugs line up. The phone actually faces outward (kinda backward if you know what I mean) when placed in the slot. Mine fits in the slot snugly, but I have a cover on it. Not the silicon kind, but similar size/thickness. If I figured it out, anyone can! This thing is great.

Good luck,
John

Or just do what i do, and lay the phone behind the lapdock. I have an Otterbox case on my phone and it's to much trouble to take it out every time i want to plug it in.
