Last week we were all hyped up on Google I/O and the revelations made by Google on Android Wear, Google L, Android Auto, and more. We also got the chance to buy the first set of android wear smart watches in Samsung Gear Live and LG G Watch but no Moto 360 as of now. But then you look at the play store and realize only a handful of apps are even ready for android wear and you realize it may have not been a bad idea for Motorola to wait a little bit. Yes we know developers have had time to develop apps for android wear via sdk for some time but until you have real world testing where people use their devices in different ways you may not have a chance to discover what bugs may surface. And like when Android phones and tablets first surfaced it took a bit to redesign apps to where it worked better for the different phones and tablets on the market. I think the same will be true for wear apps as we are just now seeing google actually distinguish in the play store android wear apps. So to those of us who are impatient and want our Moto watches now just remember this is not Motorola's first smart watch (motoactv) as they been down this road before as well it is not their first introductory device as they had both the droid (first to 2.0) and the motorola xoom (one of the first android tablets) so they know what they doing by not rushing to be the first instead choosing to take more time to perfect the software and build up the inventory in preparation for the demand.
