Moving Google Voice App To Home Screen

I have tried everything I can to get Google Voice moved to my home screen and simply can't get it done. No widget, shortcut only moves settings, don't know any way to copy and paste it out of the App launcher screen.

Anyone got any idea how to get it moved? Thanks.

Pull up the app window, long press Google Voice and it should set the shortcut.

Another option would to long press on the homescreen, and there will be a menu that pops up, select "shortcuts", then "applications", then find yoru app, and it will place it on the home screen that you just long pressed on.

Same process is done for widgets, except you select widgets, instead of shortscuts when the menu pops up.
