I don't have a problem with waiting on the OTA release. My problem is the lack of communication and how Verizon and Motorola think they can just do whatever they want. How many times have they said it would happen in a certain time frame and then nothing? A little communication goes a long way. Personally I am on the 6.7.2233 leak and I love it. I have had ZERO issues with my phone and my 4G has been rock solid, so from that perspective I really don't care if they ever release an update. I just do not like getting jerked around by these big companies.

I totally agree! I'm all for waiting for a software release (as I am currently doing so), however, communicate with the Bionic community and let us know what's up. A simple post from a Motorola tech (in their forum) giving us updates on the progress would be nice. Knowing we have a REALLY GOOD WORKING version of ICS available makes me question the reasoning behind their decison to hold off with the OTA.

Samsung did the same thing with me also on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 waited over 7 months for ICS to finally get it this past monday. We are all on the same boat unless your nexus device maybe

The biggest problem I have is Motorola NEVER actually COMMUNICATES with their users via their forums. The only time Matt ever posts is to yell at someone else for discussing rooting/leaks/etc.

Newsflash, dude: we wouldn't be using leaks if you guys would EVER release the damn OS.

Of course, if Motorola did say something like 'We thought .238 was the one, but we found a snag and need to get that fixed," would you be happy with that?

Yep.

Motorola has kept to their timeframe. It's VZW that is slowing down the process.
VZW always takes a very long time to approve a new OS release.

Moto has given them a working ROM... VZW just needs to sign off on it and then it'll be released.

Thankfully though there are people out there who know how to find Moto leaks, thus we have the ability to flash ROM's long before they're released.
