My Razr MAXX has a horrible battery life! What's going on??

I'm still not completely convinced the battery is faulty. According to your stats, you are actively using your phone for 25% of a 12 hour day. That's EXTREMELY heavy usage IMO. I'd never have the time to do that every day.
EDIT: I just thought of something. You said a lot of your usage is facebook. Does the facebook app locate you automatically when you use it? If so that may be the issue if the GPS is locating you whenever you have the app open.

After 7 hours on battery today with 3 hours 20 minutes of display time mostly from fb i have 26% battery left. I am going to try exchanging this for a new phone

I do believe something is not right with your device.....battery ......something.....I would call vzw and get a ticket started

Battery showing is not the true battery usage I download an app that shows actual battery life looks like the one on the maxx is rounding to the closes % right now mine shows 70% but is actually 66%

Yeah that's pretty common in android.
Some roms add 1% increments others will do 5%. Stock android usually does 10% until below 20% then goes by 5.

What app are you using?

Had the Razor Maxx for a week now, this morning battery was at 40 % after being on for 24hrs,. Used it for, Facebook, web, text, calls and camera. and email. No bad.

I think this may be a lot of the problem. FB tracks you with GPS so your friends can see where you are. Using FB for 4 hours a day would be like using navigation for four hours a day. That would really kill any battery. I don't know if you can disable GPS tracking within FB. There have been many threads complaining of this in the past. If I remember correctly, you had to disable GPS on your phone and a lot of people would still complain that FB kept turning it back on. If you're using FB that much, your battery life is going to take a beating.

I went back to the Verizon store and they will be shipping me a new phone. I lost 30% battery in 8 hours today, which sounds great but i purposely didnt use the phone. Had only 30 minutes of display time.
