transfer rate of 1Mbps is 10M connection, not 24. speed test inflating cable results (something in how tested) as many have reported?
a 10 connection rate would explain the differences I was wondering about.
Just downloaded it for testing. Max was 1.57 Mb/s min was .99 Mb/s. I'd say the average was about 1.2 Mb/s. I am using Time Warner Cable in Southwest Ohio.
thanks guys, between this and some other testing done I think leaving on present farm location serves us (hehe--pun) well.
I see (from testing) no speed gains to migrating from present location to another.
