NEED HELP ASAP GB Bootloop

He can't do any downloading with his phone, he's in a bootloop. Forget the sbf file and rsd lite. Go here and download this executable file to your computer, connect your phone, make sure its in bootloader (hold camera and menu buttons while pressing power),and double-click the file. Then you'll be back at stock .340 and you can go from there.

Wow you do know those directions are to sbf back to stock and nowhere do you have to download anything to your phone prior to sbfing back to stock. You should read a little better because we told him to do the same thing only mine is manually doing it and yours is an automated two click and done process.

Yea thinking battery is dead I guess. WIll it charge on my wall charger? From what imreading I have to charge battery on a dock station for just the battery no?

If so I will attempt in morning I guess. Hope it works I have all backed up, contacts w/ google, and all that stuff so im not worried. Just live by the phone and work from it. Need it working asap! However maybe I should just go back to the days you don't have one...... lot cheaper.

Went from a perfect running GB 573 root and wanted to go 595 update. I used D2 bootstrapper. Went in and was up to date. Did a reboot because I wanted to change some stuff and was needed. Now im here at bootloop on the droid eye part. I pull battery and hold HOME and POWER and all it does is bring up the droid with triangle thing. I hit the search buttom but won't bring up the navagation stuff to reboot or wipe.

NEED HELP. Appreciate all input.

Jim- i didnt see anywhere in here that you went to .588 If you didnt goto .588 before trying .595 then there could be your problem. You need to do the 3 flashes for .588 when coming off .573

I just can't get anything now. Power button nothing. If I plug into my laptop here the green light comes on but that is it. Nothing turns on

Let your battery charge up and be at 100% or close to it when you run the file because your phone won't charge in bootloader mode.

And again....you do know your phone doesn't charge if the big battery icon doesn't come on, on the screen.

Yeah if the battery died you need to charge it with a battery cradle charging thingy lol Then just use either my link or his (I don't trust automated crap) and sbf back to stock froyo and all should be good.

I thought I had 1/2 battery but could have went down a bit after some tinkering and all. Could have died I had left it on bootloop for a while and kept trying. I pulled battery plenty and right now does nothing at all. So your also saying plugging into wall will not charge it at all right.

Yup it'll only charge on a battery charging dock station that charges the battery without the phone unless you see the big battery charging icon on the screen. And also I went from .573 to deodexed .595 with a wipe and its been running since the 5th perfectly.

Yeah after you sbf once you'll feel invincible because its so easy and so effective. From now on though before you start makeing any tweaks or flash any files make sure you're around 90% battery life

BUMP FOR THIS.

Got battery charged some and I am not getting far with this SBF crap.. What do I do directs are not so clear besides saying how easy it is. I am double clicking it. I am letting it load and it just does nothing once going into that QEMU window. When do I have phone plugged in. Do I leave it in bootstrap mode? Please anyone?

Your not supposed to be in recovery at all. What method are you trying to use?

I am trying to do the SBF flash with the one click whatever method. Whatever that was just suggested up there. I figured out the right way to get phone into boot mode. With the camera button, volume down, power instead of going to the green triangle android screen that I was doing. SO I was there batter said ok all that was clear and I did the double click on the SBFwhatever and still nothing. Anyway battery isn't strong enough so I am going to try on a different computer and recharge the batter to 100%. Hopefully work.

So I keep getting the " Not enough memory for specific image" or whatever. I figured out through another forum its my camp. Both pieces of JUNK and the only other good comp I have is my Mac. How does this fair for mac users? Anything different or what. I am trying another computer I have here at work to hope she works. If not who knows what im doin. Nothing is easy for me! Damn laptop I have is 8 years old so she has like no memory. Work comps are just for work and they are totally base systems.

If any suggestions for using the mac please let me know.
