Need help fastt rooted droid is broke could i get the droid 2?

need some help because my phone broke and its 90 dollars to get a replacement droid but i heard on here they are wayyyy backed up on shipping them out and you get a replacement phone.. could i get the droid 2 in any way if i flip out on them?? thanks

i didnt break but whenever i plug my auxiliary cable into it freaks out and blows out the speakers

As a customer service person (though not with Verizon), don't flip out on them, they'll be less likely to want to help you. We have no way of saying yes or no on whether you'll get a D2, but it doesn't hurt anything to ask. I wouldn't bring it up though until they mention what you'll get as a replacement, so they don't think you broke your phone to get a newer model.

I hope you end up with a refurbed D1 just because you want to act like an ***by default thinking you'll get something for free because of it.
