Need help making the DROID use QNC for Page Plus

Hey guys, this is my first post (I think :) ) and I needed some help. I have been browsing this forum for about a month now, and it's awesome!

So my problem:
On Page Plus (A Verizon MVNO) I am using the Unlimited Talk + Text + 20MB Data plan and it's good except for the data dancedroid .
And that's where you guys come in.
You can use QNC (Quick Net Connect) that runs at 14.4Kbps for free/unlimited. I
was using these instructions off of the HowardForums Wiki.
The problem I ran into was that the '14.4/14.4' setting wouldn't stick. I would select it, then hit apply, and then check it to make sure and it would revert to '153.6/153.6' . And when I went back to home the phone didn't reboot, so I did it manually and it was still using 3G.

So how do I fix this?

EDIT: It will stick with all options but '64/14.4' and '14.4/14.4'. Are they blocked by Verizon or something? When i go to any other setting the phone will reboot once I return to the homescreen like it's supposed to, but the ones i need won't stick.

Phone Details:
CyanogenMod 6.0.0 with the BlackBar Mod - Rooted
jdfg's ULV 1.2GHz Kernel
Page Plus with Unlimited Talk + Text + 20MB Data

I also have Ubuntu on my laptop, along with windows.
