When. I use a picture as my background it won't fit the screen I don't see the whole. pic. How do I get the whole pic to fit withought croping it to be small

Can I resize it some how to fit or what

A background image should be 854x480 pixels. When you move to various home screens it moves left or right some as well, so you never see the "whole" image at one time.
