I need to Un-Root and go back to stock, my phone was freezing up, touch screen unresponsive, and battery life was horrible. Im getting a new one under warranty so I need to send this one back.

Can anyone confirm the proper steps...

1. Z4 (unroot option)

2. Factory Reset?

3. SBF to Droid 2 VZW(2.3.20)

I think all you need to do is to sbf then just delete any app that are for rooting like z4 and bootstrapper

I'm working on a website that'll explain all this to you. I'm so lazy and slow at this. haha.

That's pretty much true--i'd say your best bet would be to completely copy your SD card contents to your computer somewhere, SBF the phone to 2.3.20, then format your SD card (which you have backed up now, with all your hacked programs/etc!)

You are running a custom ROM right? What you need to do is to boot into recovery and run clockwork. If you made a back up before installing the ROM, and you should of, then you will flash that back up to go to stock OS. Then after that simply use z4Root and tap back to stock. And there you are.

If you didn't make a back up then I'm afraid you will need to sbf in order to return to stock.
