Are there any new android versions for the D2? (I have 2.2)

Not officially. You can install the gb leak but you have to be rooted. The ota gb will be coming for the d2 at the end of the 3rd quarter supposedly.

Unsure of that. I just use these forms along with xda, droid life and my droid world as a reference. There may be an official moto site regarding the update but i have not seen it yet

We will eventually get it. I don't see moto making a gb build for the d2, only to scrap it. But, I could be wrong, they have done shady stuff before.
