I'm guessing that the outstanding issues will always be "outstanding" until all of our D1's are retired or dead. I had asked the same question last release because you would think the Dev's would want to correct the issues that are known instead of introducing "new" features to the mix which could possibly have bugs in them as well. Looks like the MMS Video issue will never get fixed. Not sure why this is the only ROM where MMS video does not play.

I tried the latest 1.1.28 and it looks real slick but I think I'm gonna stay with 1.1.22 for awhile. All my themes except 3 aren't showing up( and I have quite a few) in the new theme mgr. I mix and match 4 themes to get the right look I want . Why do the devs in china fix something that isn't broke ? The theming system in the last release worked flawlessly for me.

I know. I have been following MIUI and this is why I got irritated with it. Its too many updates...and not enough fixing. For example...the mms video playback has been busted in the last 5 releases...and it USED to work way back before the UI change on like version 3.1...before they started the weekly nomenclature.

I agree about the issues, I always try MIUI but if I don't have a fully functioning ROM (MMS video) I don't want to use it as a daily driver, if everything worked I would even pay for it because MIUI is so great and different.

This was recently addressed by the MIUI developers. The jist of their response was that they try and emphasize stability in every build, but because everyone uses their device differently, they would rather have feedback from 10,000 users for 1 day than 10 testers for a week. This way they can get on issues right away. So that is the way they want to do it.

While you don't necessarily see drastic changes week to week, they have been making them behind the scenes really cleaning the ROM up and making things work better with each other and optimizing everything. I'm sure the theme manager will get sorted in the next couple weeks and hopefully they can get the video messaging working again. It must be a bigger challenge than they expected. Hang in there everyone. No one else has taken on such a massive overhaul of the UI including all these awesome apps.

While I love the look and feel of this ROM, I had to move on to one where video MMS works as intended. Ill keep lurking and might cone back as long as my D1 has a life.

Is anyone else not able to download these links FROM the phone directly? I always get an error from the browser; the URL it resolves to is http://redirectingat.com/ <stuff here>

I always have to download the PC then transfer over. Is it Bit.ly? Can we just put the whole link in there?

When I have problems on the phone I long hold on the link and hit open in new window, it usually works. Not sure if it will work if you are using the droidforums app.
