9:45 AM Jul 9th - Five days until Droid X designate #8 will be in a city built on steel. Droid X is built on 1Ghz processing power.

#8 is in Huntsville according to the previous clue.... however what's with this clue? City built on steel? Pittsburgh is the only city I know of known as "The Steel City". Or do I only know of Pittsburgh as the steel city because I live here?

Dont count on the 2 days. They have previously stated that it would be anounced in X days, then a few hours later released the GPS coordinates.

The city built on steel has to be Birmingham. The first clue was definately Huntsville but the second one points to Birmingham. Confusing..

They're going to have to pick up the pace here some time soon. Only 4 given away so far and nothing today, that means 17 in the next 2.5 days... If we are supposed to be getting these things "early" then wednesday would be the last day they would give them away.

So what's up with today? Yesterday they started at 8:00am and had over 20 tweets. Today, they have one around noon and that's it? Come on!

That still leaves 16 to be claimed before thursday morning. The whole "getting the droid x early angle" is getting a bit more lame, but a free phone is a free phone.
