If it's up and running I would suggest activating it and the redownloading the bootstrapper and bootstrapping recovery. Then I would restore your backup. Get yourself back to a stable phone before going any further.

That's what I've done, spaz. I got it stable and have rebooted a few times just to confirm. Not sure what went wrong the first time but its fine now and I'm loving the new rom. Way faster and clean as hell. You guys are awesome for all the help!

I don't know about you, but what kind of '08 mustang has a straight 6 in it. Unless you dropped one in it from an older mustang but I don't think they're that big.
