I'll just wait til the season starts to decide what I'll go with in the event that I want to watch a game on my Droid..... I can already stream local telecasts of games via Orb, and if I'm gonna have to pay for streaming of other games then I've briefly heard about Sunday Ticket on Dish network...is that still a possibility?

Gonna keep the old app around incase it means free NFLN during the season. Pretty cool of them to go back on their word of having the first year free.

The live streaming? Just checked, still working fine for me. If you have a problem, the link to download is still up. I backed up the install file on my SD card incase something happened to it. We'll see what happens. If they try to pull a switcheroo on us, I just won't pay and will go to atdhe or one of those sites for NFL Network and NFL Redzone needs.

Well somethings wrong.. I think we are getting screwed around, the old app now requires you upgrade with billing possibly starting on 9/1.

NFL Mobile - What the ...?

I went into that app and it's got Verizon all over it! Now there's talk that they are going to charge $10 a month for it.

Not that they give a rat's a$$ but I will be furious if they do this.

What, did these guys sell the app to verizon?

I had the old app. I installed a new ROM and the apps were switched. Old app is gone and gone.

This makes me sick what they are doing.

I have found nothing that says they will charge. I also made screen shots of everything that says it is completely FREE. So we will see.

Well, Major League Baseball offers a free preview week on MLB Extra Innings on cable and satellite. They do it twice once at the start of the season and once after the all star break. If you like it, you buy it. If you don't think it's worth 10.00 a month then don't buy it At least they give you a preview of what you're going to get for your 10.00.

Can you see live games on it or just listen? If you can see games, it's darn worth the 10.00 a month.

I tried to open the old app just now, before I went to the market and when it opens it says I must upgrade or exit...WTF!
