I just wanted to introduce myself before I start to work my way into the forum scene.
I have the same name as Superman's Earth dad , but I go by Jonny. I'm currently working on my 4 year degree in Chemistry with two years finished (halfway there!). Aside from my schooling, I work full-time as a Digital Photo Specialist in a photo lab for a ****ty retail chain.
I am in no way a newbie to technology, which is why I'm here. I bought the original first gen Droid on the day it came out and upgraded to the Bionic on it's release date as well. I love Motorola's hardware, and the android OS, which is why I've chosen the path of the Droid line of smartphones. I've always been a phone whore. Back in high school I was installing custom ringtones and notification tones on my Nokia 3310, which wasn't very easy at the time! I've rooted my Bionic via the 43V3RRoot method running .905 bone stock with the exception of a dozen or so frozen stock apps.
Anyway, the reason why I'm here is I've grow curious about ROMs. Since Motorola doesn't like to support their Bionics that often, and the ever-lasting wait for the official ICS update keeps getting pushed back, I was thinking about flashing a ROM and playing around while I wait for the official ICS update (if it comes at all).
Thanks for your time. I look forward to being involved with the forum community!
