For all of you that have a YAHOO! account you can get it to work with this Release by doing what i did and do a manual set-up...

Enter your email and password but before you hit ok

Go to manual setup > IMAP account and change to these settings....


Imap server - imap.mail.yahoo.com

SMTP Server- smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com

And Jamezelle i think i know why YAHOO mail isnt working is when you go into the set-up it was set to Yahoo.con (not .com).

I finally woke up and found this! I couldn't stay up any longer and fell asleep around 4. Now I'm way behind!!!

This is super smooth and awesome. Apps loaded right up, restored layout with Miui backup. Running really nice.
Only problem I'm having is with the Miui gallery. Really slow and keeps force closing. I'll just use the regular gallery instead. Overall another awesome release!!

There is a new fade out/fade in effect of the icons when sliding home screens back and forth. Pretty slick.

Wow! I really like the Miui online wallpapers option. That is a really nice touch!

Awesome Rom. Flashed it and really it is super fast and stable.

Very smooth scrolling now. Impressed. The stock kernel is great! No need for another one to be installed. It does run a tad warm for me though.

My only wishes for MIUI are.

1. Lockscreen gestures.

2. Lockscreen music controls funtion with Pandora independent of MIUI music.


Really that is the only two other things I hope for miui.

Can someone answer this for me? Will restoring System data (like the sms, settings, and sys program data and launcher layout) via the MIUI Backup utility cause any problems? His original post says to restore system data and I'm wondering if that just applies to Titanium Backup.
