New Rezound ICS Build Leaked With Updated Radio

If all I've done is unlock the bootloader and get root (but I still have S-on), then will the Verizon update still work on my phone? Or have a made it impossible to accept the update on April 6, if it indeed comes ?

Thanks....

Was really scared to flash this but I did and its soooo much better than the old leak! I definately reccomend flashing, I've never seen a phone run so fast in my life!

I moved to the leaked RC on last Friday(after only having received the phone on Thursday) and have enjoyed the changes tremendously. The phone seems to run much smoother and i'm getting better battery life as well.

Also, after running Quadrant on both OSes, my score went from somewhere around 1350 to 2400 on ICS.

The main issue for me was when attempting to put the file in the /sdcard directory, it was not working using ES File Mgr. I installed Astro and saw that there was a /sdcard directory and a /sdcard2 directory. After moving the zip to the /sdcard2 dir, the update went through successfully.

Wow! I just ran a quadrant test on mine before ics it was around 1600-1900 now its 2400-2500.

I believe the only way to root this leak is by using a combination of AmonRa installed SU and superSU by chains. [25.03.2012] SuperSU v0.87 - xda-developershe recommendation is to use the non-rooted version and install your own root. Also don't forget to RUU twice.

My resound has re gently started random reboots on it.when I first flashed this leak everything was fine.can I relash same file to fix or is there something else I have to do.hopefully I don't need a computer as I don't have one at the moment.also is there an app for the forum?

I have one question before doing this that (from what I read on each page) has not been answered with a definite answer. If I'm 100% stock and flash this, can I go back to the current version or do I have to be rooted?

does everything work on this leak? i know on the d3 the ics builds had issues with things like bluetooth connectivity, camera focusing issues, etc.?

The lighting is way off on my camera with this build, everything has a ed tone to it and didn't before.

No problems here... 3g/4g/bluetooth/wifi/camera/apps all seem to work flawlessly for me. YMMV of course. I had only loaded a couple apps on before I loaded it. Be warned though, it does reset the homescreen setup back to default, so you will need to re-customize your phone a bit, and IIRC it won't auto reinstall the apps either. I had to go reinstall them. It didn't touch the pics or any other data but it basically boots as a new stock phone. I don't think this is an upgrade as much as a full stock load for testing.

Any data you care about should be offloaded to a PC as a precaution, IMO.

Hi everyone...

New to DF. Thanks for all the hard work you guys do.

Used to play with lots of DInc roms, was waiting for CM9 to do anything to my Rezound.

Followed Sami's directions (semper fi, btw)...after ten plus minutes at the htc logo, finally finished up, only to show GB 2.3.4 still installed. I am neither unlocked or rooted.

Any thoughts?

Yup. First run updates hboot, second run updates everything else.
