I think that's really a mixed bag. It makes a lot more sense for tablets, but as someone who listens to audio on my phone almost exclusively with headphones I'd prefer not to have the additional bezel for front-facing speakers I don't need.

I second that, especially with A2dp bluetooth headsets becoming the norm, also who really wants to listen to someone's audio stream sitting next to him or her on a bus, train or any other type of venue.

This is clearly a K project. K = Galaxy S5. What makes you think this is a Nexus product?

@Jeffrey I stand corrected. It looks like this is the S5 Prime which is due to launch sometime in June prior to the LG G3 launch. Source
