i just hung up the phone and can't hold any items for the thunderbolt... can't hold the shell/holster combo, black hi gloss silicone case or anything like that. urg! why do i have to be at work right now? i'm literally glaring at the clock waiting for it to say 3pm so i can run out of the building. if my local store doesn't have it i'm trying 2 other stores before giving up for the day.

what does everyone think of the thunderbolt so far? is htcsense.com able to connect with the phone? how is the fastboot feature?

Fast boot works great.. You have to turn it on in the settings, but man IT FLIES on the boot. . at work so haven't tried sense.com.. going to work on that later.. 4G speeds so far average of 5 test.. 6 MB sec DL and 30 yes thirty MB sec upload..

Picked mine up as soon as the store opened up. Took awhile to activate the sim card and phone though, maybe because so many people were activating at the same time... who knows or just first time so many sims had been activated. I like the included keyboard, sense ui is okay but loading launcherpro on it now. Just waiting 30 min to move all my data from my OG Droid to the new 32 gig microSD. The stand is nice, and got the car dock. Will wait to see whether i get the home dock or not, the stand should be fine for my bedside clock. Oh, has anyone tried to do google video chat on it yet???

What do you like/dislike about your Thunderbolt

Picked mine up this morning on the way to work with a barely charged battery. Got the 15% warning as I walked in so moved my OD dock and plugged in my Thunderbolt only to discoverthey put the charging port on the side so that you cant charge on the kickstand?

Mine was $199 out the door with coporate discount of $50.. got the soft silicone case, but on lunch today probably going back to get a different one.. like it, but just not sturdy enough.. The hard shells are nice but make phone to thick for me. Looking into the holster with silicone case though.. not sure.. probably will switch between all of them in the next couple weeks.. I LOVE THIS THING!!

Is that the 20% employee discount through VZW? I work for the state and get 20% off my bill, but when i ordered my phone it wasnt 20% off, should i call and see if they would take it off? Or are you on something different?

Nice phone but I'm not entirely sure on Thunderbolt. I can't stand Sence. Anyways congradulations on the new phones! I'm gonna wait till later on in the year see what dual core and possibly quad core have to offer

I get 25% off anything in the store. Comes from working at JP Morgan Chase. Different companies have different dsicounts. I would check if I were you. I know online, on the phone, and at retailers I never get my discounts, but in the store I get them every time as long as it is a corp store and not a retailer.

htcsense.com doesn't have the thunderbolt listed as a optional device when you go to signup. was the feature removed?

Thats nice! I just got off the phone, no go for the discount on the phone. Ah well.

Did get them to refund my overnight shipping, since i had issues with the code last night.

Phone will be here tomorrow, too bad i'll be at work with no way to sign for it, hope i'm not sick tomorrow :icon_eek:

Yeah I just got home from picking mine up! The 4G is amazing and the phone is absolutely gorgeous! Huge difference coming from my D1, only downside I have had so far is that it didn't come fully charged! lol I love this phone to death so far and cannot wait for it to finish charging. Got mine for $199.99! $216 out the door!
