Hello! I just bought a Droid X after having another smartphone because I liked it's features and I really wanted to go back to Verizon service. I really like the phone so far, but I'm already having a problem. I tried to take a picture with my camera the other day and it didn't save. Now I can't even open the camera function by the side button or from the app menu. What's going on?

Welcome! I have a Droid and it saves my photos on my SD card in a folded named DCIM. I'm not sure if the X saves in the same location If you have a file manager app, like Astro (free in market) you can search and see the SD card. Or you can mount your X to your computer and view the SD card.

Can you open the camera if you use the camera icon?

Have you tried restarting the phone? What happens when you press the camera icon in the app drawer?
