If it still runs hot go to Verizon and ask if they can replace it. I had the same problem with one of the replacements I got and they swapped it.

I've had Watchdog (full) for over a year, and had it on this new rezound as well. Nothing jumped out at me as using much cpu.

Then you've either got something, like maybe Dropbox camera upload, Facebook, etc, syncing in the background or a bad phone.

Also, check blog apps like Lifehacker or Android Central. You have to look hard in the settings, but they will auto-sync and constantly run in the background. I ended up installing most of these and adding the mobile versions as bookmarks instead.
