Installed the update this morning...went well. I've been thinking about rooting only for the purpose of tethering. I know next to nothing about it. Is it possible with this latest update or will I be forced to go back to an earlier build?

I hope my observation isn't related - seems 4G isn't performing as it was before the update. I can't keep 4G mode at my house now. It was fine before the update. Hope the signal situation improves!

Everything seems fine so far with mine...I think it seems to have helped with some battery life to maybe....I have the Rezound Battery , but after the update that seems better...might just be me..lol

The patch went smooth for me... clock is back, all ring tones now ring on their designated contacts. my Rezound battery came via FedEx today.

However, I went and looked at the Samsung Nexus today ~ !!! WOW !!! ~ slicker'n snot ... I'm really leaning hard on trading up?

If i don't open it - I suppose I can send the battery back via FedEx without shipping charges?

Don't do it that phone is having alot of problems. Wait till ces 12 and see what HTC is coming with early next year..
