Been running the leak of this ROM for weeks now. It's great! I also just updated from 6.12.173 to 6.12.174 which was leaked yesterday (Newer DROID RAZR 6.12.174 Update Pulled and Available for Use, Fixes Search Key Force Close – Droid Life).

Still new at this game, so might be a stupid question here. This link refers to the Droid Razr Maxx. I'm guessing it works on the Droid Razr also, correct??
No your right, it does say Maxx. I'm hearing that both phones will get this update.
They are both getting the upgrade there is no difference in the phones except battery size.

It is the exact ota for both phones. Just different pdfs. Android police posted both at bottom of page.

Wish I knew when my area will be getting this, I unfrose everything and l can't stand the bloatware on this even though I have it hidden.

You can possibly retain root with the VooDoo Rootkeeper app from the market...it worked flawlessly for me manually installing this update.

Request this Thread be permanent
Moderator and Master Droids, based on th importance of this thread, I respecfully request it be made a permanent thread. Got my RAZOR yesterday. Got an update this morning. The only thing I notice different was while in docking station it gave a choice night time and office. This may have already been there and I didn't notice. Don't know enough about the razor to know this a new update.
