New Verizon S3 Update & AOL Mail

My AOL e-mail hasnt been working since the jelly bean update. Thread after thread, I cant find any solutions.
This new update said email syncing will be improved. Now when I refresh my AOL Mail I get an error message saying "unable to sync your email for the following accounts." Then it says "unable to connect to server. 80100 Pin generation limit exceeded." I've tried putting in my password again, but nothing.
Anyone else getting this error and is there a fix to get the mail back?

Remove your AOL account from the phone and redo the account setup. That should clear up your issue.

The phone wont let me remove the account. It says I can only remove it by a factory reset, which I dont wanna do.
