The Google Talk app comes with the phone...labeled as Talk.

Watch out for Scrobble Droid, I installed it so it could scrobble my music player for last.fm, it ended up messing up my GPS, showing me about a 1/2 mile from where I was and could never get a fix. Once I removed it, my GPS started to function properly.

Sorry if previously posted boys and girls but i came across the app Dockrunner! Absolutely sweet, it turns ur phone into the dockingstation mode without the dock! Unbelievably Its free too! It saved me $30 from buying the actual charger, besides i have a case.

My favorite is Youmail which is like a free virtual voicemail! You can set up different greeting for different people and sends you noticactions by text and /or email when you get a call. Very cool and free! If you want a transcript of the message there is a fee, but I don't need that.
