Newbie needing help in lamens terms lol

hi there i am kinda new to all this rooting and stuff, i used to have my fascinate rooted but like an idiot excepted the upgrade a while back and lost the root with the free 3g wifi hotspot. so i need step by step intructions on how to root it again to get the free hotspot also i would like to get froyo on it.

Please help me and again i am new to this so i am not familiar with the terms so will need it to be in lamens terms lol
