Hi everyone...I'm a newbie to the Droid, have only had it for 5 days, but man, am I having fun! So many apps, widgets, and new things I'm finding! I love it!

But...I'm having two issues, that I hope I'm posting this in the right place, or they haven't been already answered. I searched, but didn't find it...so I apologize if I am mistaken.

Anyways...two small things. How do I removed widgets I downloaded, but do not want them...so I'm a clean freak, and want to remove them.

And secondly, can someone point me into the app or direction of how to get the temperature into the top left corner...message notifier area...not sure what that area is called.

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it!

Well the first part is easy.....settings, applications, manage apps, click on app or widget and hit the uninstall button. Second part, dont know sorry.

If you are just wanting to remove the widget from your home screen ..... long press and hold then drag it back down to the app drawer. Once it turns red you can let go. This removes the widget or shortcut from your home screen.

As for the outside temp in your notification bar, I use WeatherBug. In the settings you can have the temp up on the notification bar and it will update as needed.

Hope this helps.
