News and Weather Widget

Did the OP update both links with the transparent widget? I'm looking for the smoked glass one. I can't read the transparent one.
Also, when I ran it, it took up the whole screen. I couldn't shrink it.

You have to put it in system/apps, and set permissions to rw-r--r--.

THANK YOU DougB!! My Droid X is close to perfect now. I had this file already for the last week but could not get it to work as it was in my sd card. I cut it from my SD card and pasted it into system aps, Checked the permission as you stated and I was back in business!!

... on previous phones (DX and Dinc) this widget has seemed to be a battery eater.

To conserve battery, I don't use the widget. I just have a shortcut to the app on my home screen.

I looked for it and can't find it in the market. Too many tv stations advertising their own widgets I got tired of scrolling through them all. Bummer..cuz I really liked that app.

The installed weather app sucks...can't even find the city of sparks Nevada.

When i bought the phone, this app is already installed on my phone. LOOK carefully, you can find it on the Android Market.Btw, this app is really awesome.
There are sports entertainment and some top stories.
