There's nothing like the Owl's Nest. So there's not much tweaking. What you see is what you get. It supports CM12 themes & it's smooth so far.
I don't think they were after options. The way they made it sound was it's about stability. Was the reason they waited to put this out. We'll see how long I keep it.

Man, seeing all these wildly different screens and all these wildly different icons and themes really, how does an Apple iPhone owner look at this system and not realize the tremendous level of customization and personalization that you can do with it and how it makes it so much cooler than the iPhone?
