I'm a Stars fan in exile in Northern Virginia. I was at the last Stars/Caps game - 6 rows from the glass and got to watch the Stars beat the Crapitals!

About time Cooke got what's been coming to him for several years now.

Born and raised in Detroit. Lifelong Wings fan. I used to go to all the home games. Unfortunately I now have to settle for watching the occasional game on VS here in Orlando.

When you play the game like he chooses to play the game, eventually your bell tolls for you...

Really not feeling good about the team entering this years playoffs, just has a much different feel then it did last year. Ohh well, I'll be at the game tonight.

Doubt we will get very far this year, especially if they play the same as they did the last ten or so games of the season.

Got some good matchups right off the bat... Wings coming in hot.... Good luck everyone!

GO RED WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Wings were my team before we got hockey back here (Minnesota). I'll root for them if they make it past the first round, I have to back the Coyotes this year (since the Wild aren't in it) They've been my 2nd fav team for about 5 years now. Hope it'll help that city realize what they have and start to support them a bit better.

Hoping Fletch will change the Wild for the better in the next few years He's got some big holes that Riser left to fill. And a pretty well empty cupboard for prospects.

Horrible game so far by the Pens. This is the continuation of the poor defensive play and weaker play (compared to last year) by Fleury from the regular season.

I thought it started well with the PP tally considering that is one of the Pens' biggest weaknesses but I guess I was wrong with three unanswered goals.

I doubt they will go far in the playoffs, but then again last year the playoffs didn't start all that well either.

Yup... bad night for most of us in this thread.... Not that I think the Wings are unbeatable or anything, but as hot as they came in... I expected a victory tonight. Oh well, redemption on Friday...

GO WINGS!!!!

Yeah, really, MAF didn't allow the pens to take advantage of some equally weak goaltending on the sens side, on avg last night there was about 1 goal every 5 shots, yikes. What's also scary is how few shots the pens got, they gotta get more on net, Sens goaltending is very suspect. MAF has to win that game for us to get anywhere in the playoffs.

Yeah he was pretty horrible last night. Sorry, but he plays 41 games a year in that building...yeah it was a bad bounce but it's always horrid to give up a goal off the boards. And two or three times he wasn't even looking near the puck nor was he screened when the goal was scored.

All kinds of choking going on.

Go Habs Go!

I doubt it will happen, but it will be like a Christmas present to watch Ovechkin and the Caps fail yet AGAIN.

Although if Halak plays like this in Game 7, it damn might just happen.

Buffalo in the process of choking as well.
