It does that bar when it is charging, however the new one is just 1% numbers no bars or circles

Yes, you need root to flash CWM and you must also be deodexed. And there are never stupid questions in the house of Android

It is possible but themes take some time to make, that being said I doubt you will get one for this Christmas if one is not already out.
