No bettercut on froyo?

A few more steps than I am used to, but the end result is the same. How did you figure that out?

Messing with launchers long before 2.2, it wouldn't let me use the normal way, and I had remembered seeing better cut in the shortcut options, so I gave it a whirl and it worked.
