No Commitment Upgrades On Verizon

Hi guys, me again.

I had my eye on getting the Droid Incredible, but it's backlogged everywhere, so I decided to take up a $20 offer for the Motorola Droid.

Figure I'll get either the Droid 2 or Droid X when they come out later this summer. Thinking the Droid X, that big screen is the sexy.

I don't think you will be dissapointed. I love my Moto Droid. I went to Verizon one day just to look at the new stuff and I wouldn't trade my Moto for any one of them. It does everything I want it to do and a lot that I don't know how to do yet.

my droid is coming in the mail tomorrow, kinda wish i would have waited for the droid x... can't complain though, got it free from wirefly dancedroid

btw, i'm new here... hello everybody!

Really?

I don't have my phone yet, but I was Googling around and saw somewhere that a Verizon rep said you should never dial the -90 postfix when you dial *228.

all the 90 prefix is to skip pressing OPT 1

*228 OPT 1

is the same as

*22890

I use *22890 because im lazy and dont want to press 1 but either way wil work

Hmmm, okay. Good to know.

Quick question

My Droid arrives tomorrow. I'm porting my BB Calendar to Google Calendar.

Can I see the tasks in Google Calendar on the Android phone?

And if you download Pure Grid Calendar Widget you can set a whole month calendar on a full screen all the time. It even syncs with Google calendar and has your appointments printed on each day. Pretty awesome.
