no contact pictures incoming calls or texts...

Just upgraded from my Droid to the Incredible. When I receive a call or text - the person's Facebook picture doesn't show.....only the green Droid.

Is there a setting I need to tweak?

But in my "People" - all 148 FaceBook contacts are there......pictures and all......with the little blue and white" f " by them. In fact I don't really want them all. :)

I could unsync them all - but I don't want to. What I want to do is:

1. Trim down that list (not kill it)
2. Simply have pictures show up when there is an incoming call or text.

I could do both with my MotoDroid. ;)

Shark I had my gf call me as a test and we both noticed our pictures come up when we call each other because we have our profiles linked with FB. What I am trying to figure out now is how to set a gallery picture for contacts that are not synced to an account.

Sent from my ADR6300 using DroidForums App

I had to add the area code to the contact's phone number. It couldn't find it otherwise.
As far as using a gallery picture:
1. Long press on the contact
2. Choose edit contact
3. Select photo from gallery.

Omfg. Right, why didn't I think of that. The long press thing I'm not used to, it's kicking my a$$. x.x XD

Pft yeah. Not all of us it doesn't. :P

*Edit: I tried what you said. When I long press it pops up with a box with two options. Call Work and Send contact as vCard.

So you can't edit it all? Maybe try making a new contact for that person (then link them) and then try editing....

hmmmmm.

Yeah I will have to try fiddling with it. Weird thing is I can edit stuff about the contact if they're linked to an account like Facebook, but I can't if they're not linked. Which really doesn't make much sense.

Yeah it was kinda the opposite with the MotoDroid. I still think the Contacts/People thing is more complicated than it needs to be.
