I agree with you, it definitely is. It's a very hard thing to adjust to when lots of people, like myself, are used to it being more like an actual address book you could add, edit, or whatever. The whole concept of sync'ing to accounts and not really having much control over editing them is a bit to get used to. x.x

I could unsync them all - but I don't want to. What I want to do is:

1. Trim down that list (not kill it)
2. Simply have pictures show up when there is an incoming call or text.

I could do both with my MotoDroid.

You can do this. First uncheck the sync all Facebook box. Next go to your people/contacts list. Select the person you want to sync to. In the upper right corner there is going to be a broken chain image or the word "link" with a green circle "1". Select whichever shows up. You will have a Facebook tab. Select it. Scroll to the corresponding contact and click them. Click "done" at the bottom and voila. It is time consuming but it beats having to wade through all your Facebook contacts unnecessarily. Hope this helps.

I am having a similar problem. When I syncd to Facebook, anyone that calls it shows the same picture, no matter who calls. When I unsync from Facebook, only the green droid guy shows up with no picture or number. Still havent found a way to fix it.

Be sure the phone numbers have the area code included.
