No "Droid" on start up

Personally, I always found it annoying and I'm glad its gone.

Eh. Never bothered me before. I think it's kinda cool, especially since every time my phone goes, "DROOOID!", my 2-year old says "DROID!" The first time he did that back in April, we were in the car, and my wife and I laughed so hard, she almost drove off the road! LOL.

No big deal about losing it, though. I use the same sound for text msgs and emails, so my son continues parroting, "DROID!"

mine never said droid. not even on the 2.0 original firmware when i first got it. or at least i don't remember it doing that and it definitely hasn't since root, BB4, BB5 and now UD10.
