Verizon recently released an OTA which patched Root on our Galaxy Note 2 while also replacing our unlocked bootloaders with a new locked down bootloader. Adam Outler along with Ralekdev have updated CASUAL to now be supported on devices that have accepted the latest OTA update to VRAMC3 Android version 4.1.2. This is awesome news as many of you have reported to me that you received the update, lost root, and have been stranded out in the cold.
The turnaround on the new root method has been pretty quick as Verizon released the new update about 7 days ago! The method works the same as the previous versions of CASUAL. You click "Do It" and the rest is pretty much automated. This here aint rocket science folks! Big shoutouts to Adam Outler and Lee Harrison for this awesome development! Grab the new CASUAL at the source link below!
