noise at start up

My global does not make that noise at startup. Or any noise, for that matter.

Really? Well I know the pro does and I thought the global did to. I guess count your lucky stars you don't have a pro then, as it's not all that easy to remove.

You are correct sir. Looks like it doesn't appear in the aosp sound settings.

hey... i've been having the same issue with my R2D2 Droid2... has there been an answer yet? sorry... i'm a bit confused by the posts.. its my first ever smartphone lol. :motdroidhoriz:

oh and i don't know if it helps... but my sd notification sound is turned off, but i've come to realize that it won't allow me to turn it on at all. (i thought maybe if i turned it on then off again)

Samsung Charge also has this issue.. BUT Not all the time... If I reload it to factory, it doesn't do it.
