Noob Backup Question..Help

So i have been rooted for a little while, and i have a question. Ive heard whenever a new rom comes out everyone starts doing their backups. I always hear them talk about nandroid backups on SPrecovery. How would i backup on ClockworkMod?

Example: If UD 9 came out and i wanted to keep all my apps and settings from when i had UD 8, how would i do this. Thanks!

I believe Rom Manager allows you to backup with CW in two ways. First, there is a separate tab "Backup Current ROM" or if you use RM to download and install a rom RM will prompt you to make a backup as well as wipe data/cache. Either will work.

Example: If UD 9 came out and i wanted to keep all my apps and settings from when i had UD 8, how would i do this. Thanks!

You may want to consider using Mybackup Pro or Titanium. Both are excellent apps (paid) that will backup you apps and their data.

Hope this is helpful.

Mike
