oh and BTW you have gtalk. It comes standard on the phone. It's the Talk app in your app drawer.

It's easier when people have the standalone computer application so that you can continue helping them even when their phone's are off (like when their flashing something).

and as for the warranty......it does void it, but you can unroot if you need to take it in so it's not a real big issue. Haven't heard of anyone getting denied yet.

Just out of curiosity I've seen in several places that rooting can void your warrenty. Is that really a big problem or can that just happen if you really screw something up?

You CAN screw something up, but with the guides and instructions that people post, it is highly unlikely. Now, once your phone is rooted, your warrenty is voided, but it can be restored to stock so that Verizon never knows you rooted if you have to take it back for some reason.

Again, there is always that possibility that something can go wrong, so be sure to ask about something if your unsure.

A lot of the guides people have written have become out of date. Though, if you see something you like in the forums, they will most likely have instructions for you to look at. If you don't understand it, or they don't have any instructions, feel free to ask!

No. All app purchases are tied to your google account. So when you sign back into your account, they will all be right there for you.
