Not losing data connection after ota

It seems there was a fairly common problem of the tb having difficulty switching between 3g and 4g and losing data connection altogether. This problem started for me after the July ota but hasn't happened since the latest gingerbread ota. Is anyone else continuing to have this issue or noticed a difference since the ota? Stock tb.

My connectivity issues began to show up with the Sept. GB update, after waking the phone would take anywhere from 20 seconds to 5 minutes to reestablish a connection. Sometimes it wouldn't reestablish one at all.
Since the latest update, 10/27 it is not connected when I wake the phone, but as soon as I touch and app, it immediately connects.
I assume it is saving battery life by not having a connection while not in use, or Juice Defender is doing it, either way, it's working fine now.
I still really like this phone.
