Not really getting amazing battery

Logically you should be getting roughly twice the battery life compared to other phones with the same or very similar specs. It's only 3300mah. Sure if you are heavy on it, it's going to wear down faster than those who are "average" users. So I guess the questions is whether or not you think you have a defective unit? If so, take it back to VZW and explain to them your situation and hope for the best. My phone lasts all day with no issues, but I'm not a heavy user and I'm not normally in a 4G area and wifi is normally turned off. Try a day of light usage and see how far it takes you.

See I want my phone to have data sync what is the point of having this great phone yet turning it all off? I would rather use 3g and have my email notifications etc. That is me though. I have all my background data and I still get great battery. Is 24hr worth not using the phone or is 12 to 18 hrs enough yet the phone can do its job?

I agree with you! I see no need to have a phone with such a powerful battery and turn everything off? Defeats the purpose in my opinion!

With my Maxx, I take it off the charger around 7:15 AM. I use it moderately or heavily most of the day. By the time I go to bed to put it on the charger (around 10-11 PM) I'm usually at 40% or 30% so that's like 15-16 hours. What helped was doing automatic brightness and turning off 4G. I also don't have a task/app killer. As long as I don't have to charge it during the day and it holds till bedtime, I'm happy. :biggrin:
