NOTE 9 not recognize sim card

I have a note 9 which I bought used. I am using Mint Mobile which uses T-Mobile lines. When I insert the Mint sim card it shows my phone number in the about phone section of settings but says there is no network available. The phone has the T-Mobile banner when it is turned on. Just curious if anyone would know why this is happening. Thx.

Welcome to the forum. Are you sure the sim card isn't damaged and or inserted correctly? Might try and reset your network before a FDR.

1. Open Settings
2. Tap General management
3. Tap Reset
4. Tap Reset network settings
5. Tap Reset settings
6. Enter your PIN or password if prompted
7. Tap Reset to confirm
