Notification tones are repeating?

I have the same problem, but mine seems to be at random times. Sometimes it will be 10 minutes then other times it could be up to 30 minutes.

Did a factory reset last night and that seems to have fixed it for now...but as I add everything back in, we'll see if it starts up again.

Go to Settings-Sound & Display-Roaming Tone ( Disable )

Mine was doing this when I drove to the mountains. My dad, who is laughing becuase he has been telling me the iPhone is coming to Verizon since 2007, says' shoulda waited for the iPhone'.... I finally found out how to turn that off.
