Offical google+ thread!

Check it out guys, in case some of you don't know already. If the invite button on your home screen is missing here are the steps to invite more people anyway.

1. Sign in to Google+ and make a new circle called "invites" or whatever you want it to be.

2. Add people to that circle using their gmail address.

3. On the left hand side of your home page, you will see where it lists all your circles, click on the circle you just created and it should take to you a screen with no posts on it.

4. Make a new post saying "Click on "comment" to join."

5. Make sure the post is only going to the circle you just created.

6. Click "Share."

When you click "Share" it will send an email to everyone you added in that circle, telling them that you invited them to join Google+ and to click on "comment or view post." When they click "comment or view post," it will take them to the post you just made.

If it doesn't let them join right away, tell them to leave that screen up on their PC and when google allows registration again the page will automatically switch. If they don't want to leave the screen up, then just tell them to keep checking back every now and then.

Does this work on the android app or the mobile web? I don't have access to a pc right now. I can't seem to figure this out

Needs to be done on a PC, I don't think it's possible to invite people from the app.

What if the invite goes to a non-gmail account? Can they still use it as an invite?

In other news, if people will pm me, I'll, be happy to do some inviting later on, and share the love that was kindly shared with me.

You can add people from the app I think.

If you open the app and then go into "circles" there should be an icon on the top right with a + right before a person icon. Press that and it will allow you to input email addresses to add. If you click on the "People" tab at the bottom of the screen, it will actually suggest people from your contacts to add.

Got my invite yesterday and starting sending out invites last night. If anyone from the forum is still looking to GET an invite PM me and I will send one to you.

So far I am really liking it and thinking that this may be the death of Facebook in time. I travel for work and setting up hangouts is nice to talk to my friends via video chat as well as checking in with my kids at home. I haven't had a chance to try the android app yet so that is on my list for today.

I got some invites too, so pm me if you need some.
